Quality Control
Quality control is a shared responsibility among all employees as evidenced by the name of our quality system , QuEST, which is an acronym for "Qualify Every Step Together."
An important part of our quality control is the analytical laboratory. Both manufacturing facilities have laboratory testing capability for all critical manufacturing process control characteristics including:
- Aluminum (by H2 Evolution)
- Carbon (by LECO® Determinator)
- Moisture (by LECO® RC-412 Determinator)
- Density
- Screen Analysis

In addition, the corporate laboratory in Plymouth, IN employs an Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Spectrometer for the analysis of Trace Elements (by Spectro Ciros ICP) including:
